"It was some words that I’d scribbled down in the middle of the night after a dream: “I’m going round and round ‘til I get to the bridge….” In the dream  I could never find a way onto the bridge to take me where I needed to go. This was how “Drunk On You” the song and the album began.
 
Even though this sounds uncertain, the writing sped ahead when I spent an August in London at a house on the edge of Hampstead Heath with a Steinway piano. I’m not a writer who pulls inspiration from angst, obviously!"
